On September 11, the author learned from Nanhai District, Foshan that the 2019 United Nations Development Programme hydrogen energy industry conference (hereinafter referred to as "UNDP hydrogen energy industry conference") will be held at the Qiaoshan cultural center in Nanhai District on October 26. The conference will last for 3 days. At that time, more than 2000 people, including relevant national ministries and commissions, global organizations, scientific research institutions, automobile groups, hydrogen energy and fuel cell core enterprises, will participate to contribute their wisdom and strength to the large-scale commercial development of the hydrogen energy and fuel cell automobile industry.

Following the "Hydrogen Energy Week" in 2017 and 2018, this domestic hydrogen energy industry event once again landed in the South China Sea. The activities will include the opening ceremony of UNDP hydrogen energy industry conference, the sub forum of UNDP hydrogen energy industry conference, and the third China (Foshan) International hydrogen energy and fuel cell technology and products exhibition.

Among them, the opening ceremony will invite leaders of relevant national ministries and commissions and local government leaders to pass on industrial policy trends and strengthen confidence in industrial development. At the same time, the launch of fuel cell vehicle safety guidelines, the Establishment Ceremony of UNDP Hydrogen Energy Institute, the operation ceremony of hydrogen refueling station, the listing ceremony of Hydrogen Energy Exhibition Center, and the project signing ceremony will be held.

As an important part of the conference, the 3rd China (Foshan) International hydrogen energy and fuel cell technology and products exhibition was held simultaneously. It will attract many well-known domestic enterprises such as German exhibition group, BAIC Foton, Zhengzhou Yutong, etc. In addition, local enterprises in the South China Sea region, such as reshaping technology, Edelman, discovery automobile and TIROS, will also settle in. The exhibition covers many fields, such as hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, hydrogen and fuel cell core parts and materials. It is expected that there will be more than 200 exhibitors and 6000 people.

In recent years, Nanhai District has successively introduced a number of leading hydrogen energy and new energy automobile enterprises through a series of planning, policies and promotion and application guidance, and gradually become an important force in the domestic hydrogen energy industry. At the second "hydrogen week" held in 2018, Nanhai District also released the "Xianhu hydrogen Valley", which will build a "Silicon Valley" for the new energy automobile industry. On this basis, the holding of the hydrogen energy week not only further promoted the gathering and development of the hydrogen energy industry in the South China Sea, but also injected vitality into the adjustment and transformation of the local industrial structure.
